Research Center for Animation, Film and Digital Processes, VIA University College are seeking a talented and motivated Content Producer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong networking skills and a good overview of administrative tasks, as well as the ability to handle journalistic tasks, dissemination activities and preferably also the creation of visual content.

Job description:

You will have the responsibility of creating and distributing promotional material for the Nordic and Baltic animation industry and the partnering festivals: Viborg Animation Festival (DK), Blon Animation and Game Festival (LT), Fredrikstad Animation Festival (N) and Rex Animation Film Festival (SE). You’ll be working as an integrated part of the Viborg Animation Festival office and together with an international team of partnering festivals to secure collaboration, content and reach.  

Besides your tasks in NAN you will be expected to participate in existing and new projects and initiatives set forth by the Research Center for Animation, Film and Digital Processes, contributing to the synergy between projects and departments. 

Your primary work tasks will be to:

• Prepare, coordinate, record, and edit a series of interviews with various artists. You'll be responsible for caring out a series of interviews in collaboration with the network partners in both Denmark and other countries.
• Promote Northern and Baltic animation through different online channels. Your task is to promote both the network and the series of interviews through the different network channels. 
• Maintain communications through a designated website and social media platforms. You'll be responsible for maintaining the network website and the external communication surrounding the network activities
• Secure collaboration with different relevant national and international partners. 
• Contribute to the internal collaboration, production, dissemination and distribution within the Research Center for Animation, Film and Digital Processes.
• Take part in the external networking activities 

Competencies:

We are looking for a candidate who:

• Has journalistic and communication skils as well as experiences with (long form) content production  
• Are capable of working independently
• Has experience with editing, sound and filming 
• Has experience with distribution and platform management 
• Has experience with graphic design 
• Has an animation/film/communication background 
• Is fluent in written and spoken English

• Are capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously
• Are dialogue-oriented and willing to learn
• Are prepared for travel activities
• Have a category B driver’s license

Salary and Employment Conditions:

The position is a project position, 20 hours per week, from 1st of June 2025 – 31st of October 2026.

The primary workplace is The Animation Workshop, VIA University College, Kasernevej 5, 8800 Viborg. Activities at VIA's other campuses in the Central Denmark Region are to be expected.

Salary and employment conditions are determined according to current agreements and collective agreements, including pension contributions.
